Le Mans - probably the World's greatest motor race...

Raceweek dates: 8th-14th June 2015

2014 saw the 82nd running of the world's toughest and most famous road race - the 24 hours of Le Mans - which after about 22 hours of intrigue was won by Audi's #2 car (the driving & engineering line-up's 3rd overall win), with car #1 finishing second, and the only surviving Toyota taking the final podium position.

Run almost continuously since 1923, the last few years have seen Audi become a dominant force in the race, whilst Toyota are still chasing their first win.  2014's race saw the return of Porsche to the top prototype category, pitching 2 marques from the VW Group against each other with substantially different technologies (Audi Diesel vs Porsche or Toyota Petrol). 2015 will see the return of Nissan to the top category of sportscar racing with their Nismo GT-R P1 machine.

Further down the order, LM P2 provides a fascinating battle throughout the race, whilst the GT cars, in both Pro and Am categories, will provide their own incredibly close battles with Ferrari taking on Aston Martin, Corvette, Viper and the stallwart Porsche 911.

Plenty of 'big name' drivers appear on the entry list for the Le Mans 24 hours each year - including the likes of Mark Webber, Anthony Davidson and Bruno Senna (ex-F1), Oliver Gavin (ex-F1 safety car driver!, multiple class winner at Le Mans with Corvette), Patrick Dempsey (apparently he's an actor in his spare time), Alex Brundle (son of ex-F1 star Martin), together with sportscar stars such as 'Mr Le Mans' - 9 time winner - Tom Kristensen. The full entry list can be viewed on the Le Mans 24 website.

Le Mans 24 hours - accommodation and hospitality packages

So much about the Le Mans 24 hours is about passion - and we try to convey that in the options and packages we have created for our clients, a number of whom return year-on-year. One particular property we use is becoming more and more like an annual reunion!

We have partnered with a small number of companies and individuals with specialist knowledge of the Le Mans 24 hours - and decades of experience - to bring you some fabulous Le Mans 24 hour packages. One of our primary contacts has worked with teams, car clubs, corporate clients and indiviual guests for over 25 years hosting groups for team clients such as Audi, Jaguar and 'Team Nasamax', sourcing a range of accommodation and hospitality.

We don't 'do' camping! Our Le Mans accommodation packages tend towards the traditional 'bricks and mortar' with various hotel options, chateau and 'our' pretty little Auberge which sells out year after year.

For our hospitality we have options to buy direct from a number of teams, however many of our guests prefer the informality of our 'Project 24' hospitality. This marquee structure is on the outside of the circuit (within the ticket line), with a terrace looking directly over the track roughly opposite pit entry, provides good food, a great base for your weekend 'on track' and also shelter from sun/wind/rain/fog or whatever other weather Le Mans weekend throws up. For race weekend it is your base from lunchtime on the Saturday to the conclusion of the Le Mans 24 hours on Sunday afternoon.

We can add to your package with grandstand seats in the adjacent Raccordement stand (formerly Maison Blanche grandstand) which is just a few steps from hospitality and provides a view up the start line and across to the pit lane. All hospitality packages will be supplied with General Admission tickets to allow you to access the circuit and reach your Le Mans hospitality location.

Other options to add to any Le Mans package includes activities such as a helicopter flight over the circuit, additional meals (with larger group bookings perhaps you would like a Le Mans specialist to host your evening - an ex-driver perhaps?) and tours into the city or even the surrounding countryside - you're not far from the Loire Valley so you might like to consider a wine tasting.

Why buy from us?

We've been at Le Mans in both private and business terms since 1991 - the year Mazda won (we can still hear the scream of the Wankel rotary engine...) - and our partners are generally even more experienced! In many cases, once clients have confirmed their booking we actually pass them directly to the relevant supplier to deal one-to-one. This ensures that every detail is taken care of.

Please note, while we provide race tickets as part of a package including accommodation, or hospitality, we do not supply 'ticket only' for this or any other event.
